Thank you to everyone who attended our successful SIXTH and SEVENTH editions of WhiskyPLUS in 2023 in both Kuala Lumpur and Penang!
At the KL event, on Saturday, September 9, 2023 over 80 brands were offered, with most of those available for sampling. When not tasting the whiskies of the world, hundreds of guests also enjoyed a range of imported cheeses, made-to-order coffees, exclusive caviar tastings, curated mocktails, hand-rolled cigars, informative masterclasses, ice-cold sparkling water, and more! WhiskyPLUS really is Malaysia’s biggest and best whisky and spirits tasting event.
We followed this up with the first WhiskyPLUS Penang edition held since 2019. This event was held on Saturday, November 25, 2023 at the beautiful Wembley St. Giles Hotel in the heart of Georgetown. Though the Penang editions are smaller in scale than those in KL, we still welcomed over 200 guests who enjoyed sampling from a range of dozens of brands and expressions.
For 2024, mark your calendars, because we’ll be serving up another fun-filled Penang edition at the brand-new Marriott Penang on Gurney Drive. This event is scheduled for Saturday, July 20, 2024!
The larger WhiskyPLUS KL, meanwhile, will be held for the third time at the lovely Eastin Hotel in PJ Section 16, whose team has done such a good job hosting the event for the last two years running. The KL edition is scheduled for Saturday, October 26, 2024.
